Pilgrimage Prayer Intentions

To be a pilgrim is to journey to a special or holy place as a form of renewal and a way to come closer to God. As a Catholic, a pilgrimage mirrors the journey we make in our lives from earth to heaven, providing spiritual fruits that assist us with that ultimate pilgrimage.

I have made a pilgrimage to Mount Saviour Monastery in Elmira, NY on a yearly basis, usually with a retreat involved, for many years, now. I have learned to go with open hands and heart, allowing God to bring each moment to me, rather than trying to "make plans." Even though the pilgrimage to Korea will necessarily involve more planning, I am still praying for the Holy Spirit to bring those moments.

Typically when one makes a pilgrimage, there are specific prayers to make with a focus of intention. I, of course, have my own, some of which I will share here, some of which are deeply personal and will remain between God and me.

But I'd like to bring your prayers and intentions with me, as well. I invite you to contact me and let me know what you'd like me to pray for as I travel through Korea to the holy sites of the martyrs.

I will bring a special container or box with me to house all the prayer intentions.

Please leave me a comment or send a message through the Contact form to request prayer.

God reward you!
